  • 4. 3 Bharatpur Bird sanctuary Also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Bharatpur Bird sanctuary is a far-famed avifauna sanctuary and a famous World Heritage Site. The Bird sanctuary plays host to numerous migratory birds during the summer season. It is one of the best places for bird watchers. Moreover, the sanctuary is also home to wild animals like Sambar, Nilgai, Chital, and Boar. Location: Rajasthan Main Wildlife Found: Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Boar, Migratory Birds Coverage Area:29 Sq Km Established: 1956 as a Bird Sanctuary and 1982 as a National Park
  • 5. 4 Kaziranga National park Spread across an area of 430 sq. km., the Kaziranga National park houses two-thirds of the world's population of the Great One-horned Rhinoceroses. Moreover, it is also a famous World heritage Site with great population of tigers, elephants, swamp deer, wild water buffalo, and other animals. Location: Assam Main Wildlife Found: Onehorned Rhinoceros, Asiatic Elephants, Wild Buffaloes, Royal Bengal Tiger Coverage Area:430 Sq Km Established: 1974 as a National Park
