Millionaire Dropout Business Tips - Starting or running your own Business - Start Here

  1. 1. 9 Top Business Tips 9 Top Business Tips from The Millionaire Dropout by Vince Stanzione
  2. 2. 1. Start Your Own Business Whether it’s part-time to begin with, acting as an agent, or consulting a few customers alongside your existing job, start your own business and be proud about what you do. You are not going to get rich working for some else. Just DO IT! – Don’t wait for everything to be perfect – It never will be
  3. 3. 2. Put Customers First The aim in business is, of course, to make money. However, if you only focus on money without looking after your customers or finding out what the market wants, it’s going to be very hard to make money. You must also genuinely enjoy your work, be proud of your business, and be happy to serve your customers. Some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, including Henry Ford, Conrad Hilton, and Hoichiro Honda, believed that money was just a by- product of a good business. Realize that a one-off sale/order will not make you rich. It’s repeat business that counts. Build up a relationship with customers. Be a friend, not a salesman
  4. 4. 3. Be Market Driven, Not Product Driven Find out what the market wants and who you can sell to before creating or buying products. I explain exactly how to do this in my book and how to test ideas with little or no money. Find out what people are buying – Give them what they want
  5. 5. 4. Create a Professional Image Using paper with a good letter head, a business center, and professional domain name will put you on a level footing with the big boys, even if you’re a tiny company. Use templates and tools A small one person business can and must still look professional
  6. 6. 5. Don’t Waste Money Don’t get suckered into wasting money in business. Negotiate everything and run a tight ship, even when things are going well. At the same time, realize that money invested wisely will improve your business. Invest in training, books, and seminars. It’s pointless having state-of-the-art equipment if you lack the skills to use it. Keep Your Business Lean, Mean & Keen
  7. 7. 6. Be Ready for Change One thing in business is certain, and that is that there’s nothing certain in business! Things change, often very quickly. Today’s big seller is tomorrow’s totally unfashionable item. Keep your eyes open, watch out for new trends and markets. Don’t be afraid of change- A small business can react quickly and profit from change
  8. 8. 7. Don’t Quit, Believe in Yourself, and Always Give 100 Percent Stress, problems, new challenges, frustration, and let downs are part of everyday business life. If you hide away in a corner whenever something goes wrong, you won’t survive in business long. You’ll get knocked down. It happens, and it’s acceptable. The question is, do you keep bouncing back up again? You must bounce back, learn from your mistakes, and keep going. Stay on the ground for too long, and that’s where you’ll be forever. Get up, fight back, and you’ll be a winner. Everything is possible, and if you want something badly enough, you’ll get it. Keep Moving Forward
  9. 9. 8. Realize that Marketing Is the Key No inquiries means no orders. No orders means no money. No money means no business. No business means you’re out on the street! —Vince Stanzione The reality is that marketing makes or breaks you. You must advertise, use press releases, direct mail, the Internet, and any other method that will effectively spread the word about your product or service. Marketing & Sales should be your main focus – outsource the rest
  10. 10. 9. You Don’t Have to Know it All You can outsource most tasks, license products, buy resale rights, have someone else write a book for you, or research a product. Thanks to the global marketplace and sites like,,, almost any task can be outsourced at a reasonable price. You can have a multi national business with no staff thanks to outsourcing
  11. 11. Fire your Boss Do What You Love Reclaim Your Life! The Millionaire Dropout is a school-of-hard-knocks ‘how to’ manual. There is no exam or fancy degree at the end, but if you follow the advice in this book and take action, you can live a lifestyle others only dream about. You can join the new rich – those not only rich financially but also rich in time and fulfilment.
