  5. 5. History <ul><li>1993 – Began to explore videoconferencing for MDH </li></ul><ul><li>1994 - DHS offered a partnership at Metro Square </li></ul><ul><li>1994 - Minnesota joined the CDC Public Health Training Network </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>1995 - Facility & Provider Compliance Division provided funds for first videoconference equipment at Metro Square Annex </li></ul><ul><li>March 17, 1995 - first videoconference </li></ul><ul><li>1997 – Facility and Provider Compliance provided funds for satellite equipment </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>1999 - Community Health funded 2 nd set of equipment at Metro Square Annex </li></ul><ul><li>2001 - Infectious Disease Epidemiology, Prevention and Control Division funded videoconferencing equipment for 717 building </li></ul><ul><li>2003 – Environmental Health and Facilities & Provider Compliance now supporting expansion of videoconference capabilities to include Snelling Office Park and district offices </li></ul>
