Video-conferencing: Defined <ul><li>More complex definitions exist, but Video-Conferencing uses technologies to synchronously capture, send, receive, and display audio and video between 2 or more sites. </li></ul><ul><li>Also known as: ITV, Interactive Video, Interactive TV, IVDL… </li></ul>
    4. 4. Video-conferencing: Common uses <ul><li>Meetings </li></ul><ul><li>Professional development </li></ul><ul><li>Course delivery </li></ul><ul><li>Interact with other classrooms </li></ul><ul><li>Interact with an off-site expert or place (field trip) </li></ul>

Look TWICE <ul><li>TWICE = Two Way Interactive Connections in Education: www.twice.cc </li></ul><ul><li>A group of Michigan educators providing expertise, resources, and coordination to help integrate V-C in schools </li></ul><ul><li>Many ISDs/RESAs are members (this membership includes local districts) </li></ul>
