Thanks to Dan Poynter's excellent resources volume, I managed to get my
first book published, avoiding many pitfalls and incorporating some
excellent ideas (like placing my title on the spine so that it will read
vertically when sitting on a shelf! Dan's advice runs from the minute details

of packaging to the timelines to marketing, with lots more than the average
person will be able to take in. I recommend this book for everyone who
wants to be published EVEN IF you do not publish yourself. Attention to
details will guarantee a much better chance of success and Dan gives you
