comprehensive survey of the fundamentals of sleep, sleep disorders, the
function of sleep, and the principles of healthy sleep, this book serves as
the ultimate source for sleep-related information. Central to his book is
how the interplay and of sleep debt, circadian rhythms, the biological clock,
and environmental arousals contributes to the efficiency of our sleep. The
plethora of information in this book accomplishes Dr. Dement's goal of
giving people "the fundamental knowledge they need to change the way
