I can't say enough about this book. It's the best beginner book I've found.
I've been crocheting since I was 5 or 6 when my mother helped me make a
scarf for my favorite stuffed animal. I now teach crochet at my office to a
group of about 8 women. We meet during lunch once a week for 10 weeks
and hopefully, complete a project. This is the one book I really try to push
on them. The great step by step photos provide a good reference for
learning on your own. It's the next best thing to having your own instructor.
