I am so excited to have found this book and this artist! She describes a
desire that I have had but have been too afraid, or reluctant to persue...that
of persuing my creativity in a more serious way. The format of this book is
unique. Kelly Rae offers some insight of her artistic journey, some tips and
exercises for our own journey, whatever it may be. She also include
interviews with various artists and how they have dealt with the issues and
challenges of listening to their creative sides. And then there is my favorite
part...the projects! I love the projects offered in this book. I have completed
one so far and as someone with VERY little art experience, I was able to
complete the project with ease. The pictures are great, the directions are
clear, and she is very specific about what materials are needed, though I
imagine that much is stuff that people with art experience have on hand. I
cannot say enough about this beautiful book. You will not regret this
purchase. It is many art classes in one very inexpensive art book.
