Small Favor (The Dresden Files, Book
10) by Jim Butcher
Whacky Wonderful Wizarding!
THE New York Times Bestseller
Harry Dresden’s life finally seems to be calming down—until a shadow
from the past returns. Mab, monarch of the Sidhe Winter Court, calls in an
old favor from Harry—one small favor that will trap him between a
nightmarish foe and an equally deadly ally, and that will strain his skills—
and loyalties—to their very limits.
Personal Review: Small Favor (The Dresden Files, Book 10) by
Jim Butcher
I am totally hooked on this series, but find myself running out of adjectives
for these reviews. If you've read other books in the series and liked them,
then you won't be disappointed. If you've never read the Dresden Files, my
advice is to go out immediately, get a copy of Storm Front (The Dresden
Files, Book 1), and get started.
In this volume Faerie Queen Mab comes to collect on a favor Harry owes
her (from a previous book in the series) and our wisecracking hero once
again finds himself fighting impossible odds to solve a mystery he wants
no part of. All the old favorite characters: Murphy, Thomas, Michael,
Mouse, Molly - even Gentleman Johnny Marcone show up in the story.
(wow - I never noticed the alliteration before)
