I disagree with the first reviewer. Perhaps this book would be less helpful
for seasoned business owners, but for beginners, it is perfect. It is clearly

written and engaging, and contains crucial information for people wanting
to start their own businesses. The author logically lays out, in plain
language, the necessary steps required in applying for a business loan,
from creating a business plan to understanding the "lender's language" --
what lenders are really looking for in applicants. It gives important insights
for avoiding rejection by lenders, including secrets that only a financial
insider could know. I have friends who have tried to start their own
businesses, so I know how difficult it is. The positive but realistic tone of
the book is encouraging and informative. I highly recommend it!
