(Coloring Books) by John Green
One Of The Best Horse Coloring Books
handsome, ready-to color portraits of the world’s smallest breeds of
horses, including the American Shetland, Welsh mountain pony, a Sable
Island mare with her foal, as well as a Chincoteague, Camargue, Fjord,
Highland, Palomino, and other ponies. Subjects are engagingly portrayed
with young and adult riders, racing across grasslands, grazing alongside a
stream, and in other typical settings. Identifying captions.
Personal Review: Ponies of the World Coloring Book (Coloring
Books) by John Green
If your child is like mine and has a keen interest in horses/ponies and
coloring, this (or any of the other horse coloring books from Dover) is the
book! My 5 year old daughter has used both crayon and colored pencils,
with pencils being the better choice due to the detail of the beautiful
drawings. In addition, it will last a while given the generous 44 pages of
drawings. All I can say is "Mr. Green, please give us more". We will be
branching out to some of his other books featuring dogs ("Favorite Dogs
Coloring Book"), cats ("Wild Cats of the World Coloring Book"), and
monkeys ("Monkeys and Apes Coloring Book").
