Personal Review: Microsoft Explorer Mini Mouse
For business, academic, or home applications, this is a great product.
I purchased it to replace a Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse 4000 which I
didn't care for at all (reviewed by me elsewhere) and couldn't have been
more pleased. As advertised, it works on any surface and I've never had
any range issues. The small side buttons are programmed by default to
magnifier (front button) and back (rear button). I particularly like the ability
to move back to a previous web page by pressing the back button and I've
never hit either of the buttons accidentally.

The USB dongle is as small as any I've ever seen and fits nicely into the
underside of the mouse - the product also comes with a mouse bag to
protect it when traveling.
IMHO, this is Microsoft's best mouse ever for business, academic, or home
applications.
