After reading I bought 3 more copies. "Having it All" is so much more than a personal development book. I enjoyed it because of its uniqueness, simplicity, scope, practicality and the author's sincerity.
Uniqueness - it delves from quantum physics to the human brain to success. Odd combination, huh? :-)
Simplicity - the author shows this is not rocket science. I understood every concept without having to read any part twice. The read was so smooth.
Scope - it's not a book about just money or self worth. It covers every aspect of achieving a fulfilling life, from relationships to spirituality to health and business.
Practicality - huge benefit of the book, it cuts to the chase and got me immersed in understanding myself. By the end I was clearer on my goals, had an action plan, and practical guidance in execution, starting from the inside-out.
And of course the author's sincerity. John Assaraf is just like any of us. He admits not being the smartest in high school or in the best circumstances at the time; having to overcome a teenage life of crime and a severe accident. Yet he achieved everything his heart desired.
Today John is a consummate entrepreneur helping people and businesses all over the world. He appears on Larry King and Ellen Show, and most recently lectured over 25,000 people in Nigeria.
Reading the book and listening to the audiobook I felt John knew me my entire life. Not many books have that power.
He is very much reachable through his "Having It All" Challenge and his Facebook fan page.
If you think "The Secret" was something, you aint see nothing yet!
