Gamecube Wavebird Wireless Controller Grey, Silver, Compatible with Wii - Presentation Transcript

    1. Gamecube Wavebird Wireless Controller Grey, Silver, Compatible with Wii Great Controller Best Wireless Wouldnt it be nice to play games without a cord stretching across your living-room floor, especially if you have little kids or large dogs in your household? Nintendos Wave Bird isnt the first wireless controller ever brought to market, but its a whole lot better than what came before. You may remember a brief fad a few years ago with spotty infrared devices. These units failed because they were a lot heavier than standard controllers, and also because they required a direct line of sight between the controller and the infrared receiver. The Wave Bird is much lighter (it weighs a bit more than a regular controller) and uses radio frequency signals for reliable game control at distances of up to 20 feet. Unless your playing on a stadium-size TV screen, that should be more than enough. The unit will last for about 100 hours of use on just two AA batteries and has 16 channel frequencies, so youll easily be able to hook up four controllers without interference. Personal Review: Gamecube Wavebird Wireless Controller Grey, Silver, Compatible with Wii WOW. This thing rocks. This thing gives you soooo much freedom. When my parents play, they always jerk the controller up when they jump (say in a mario game) and sometimes, the controller socket pops out or worse, the gamecube falls down. WIth this, i can play anyhere. Fine, different controllers have different ranges (this one has 100 feet) If another controller has 200 feet, then think about it this way. Are you really going to play 200 feet away from your Gamecube?? You won't even be able to see the screen. THis COntroller is the best controller ever made. People complain about the batteries and the color. There are actually 2 colors: white and platinum. Platinum looks really good. (i have platinum) The other thing that people complain about is the battery power. It claims to be around 100 hours, but i have no idea how much i play. I bought it in Feb. 2005 and i've only had to replace the batteries once (and i play a LOT).
    2. Sure, there's no rumble, but for the freedom that you get, it barely matters. If you have a gamecube, and you don't have a wavebird, then go get one. YOu won't regret it.
