Personal Review: Economics of Public Issues, The (16th
Edition) by Douglass C. North
Best to read this one after Intro to Microeconomics or in a class where the
instructor can set aside a little time to explain concepts like elasticity, dead
weight loss, supply/demand curves and externalities. Really great
examples of economic concepts that are applicable today. This would be
a great book for a 12th grade class or to compliment a microeconomics
text in college.
