This Casio waveceptor sport watch is a stylish casual watch bursting with
features, making it an ideal choice for world travel or everyday adventures.
The distinctive digital display features four asymmetrically divided mini-
windows inside the round, brushed stainless steel bezel. The central
window shows the time, kept accurate with multi-band atomic timekeeping
and world time settings for up to 29 time zones (48 cities). The upper
window displays the month and date, and the lower two windows display
the day of the week and the waveceptor receiving signal. This watch also
offers a daily alarm, countdown timer, 1/100 second stopwatch and an EL
backlight with afterglow. The elegant stainless steel band with fold-over
clasp and double push-button safety release completes the look. This
watch is water resistant up to 165 feet (50 meters) and offers a two-year

I bought this watch to replace the resin strapped Waveceptor watch that is
just about the same as this except for having a resin strap and black
accents. My other watch broke and it was cheaper and easier to just buy
this watch as a replacement.
It was kind of a hassle to figure out how to remove links and adjust the size
of the metal band, but once this was done I was very satisfied. It is good
that the metal links are hard to remove because that means they are less
likely to break accidentally. The design is clever, with a little searching
online, I found a guide to removing links.
The watch looks great, when I bought it it was only $19.99. The price has
gone up a little I see, but it is still a decent value. Casio watches are my
favorite kind, I prefer them over Timex and other comparable brands. Many
people don't realize this, but a quartz style watch actually keeps time better
than the really fancy expensive mechanical watches. I enjoy the triumph of
reason when I have a sensible affordable timepiece on my wrist that sets
itself from a radio signal and I paid many times less for it than the people
do who buy the expensive but less effective watches.
This metal one looks great too. I like the style because it is not as clunky
as many of the G-shock models. I have never had a metal watch before, I
like that it looks classy but still retains the sensible practical features the
resin banded radio watches do.
In closing, what first brought me to this type of watch was the radio
synchronization, I have been very satisfied with this feature. It would be
cool to spend a bit and buy like five of these so that I can wear a nice one
for the rest of my life.
