Baggage by Emily Barr
Not Able To Put It Down.
At eighteen, your closest friend commits suicide. At twenty-nine, youre
backpacking in the Australian outback when you see her. She has a
husband. She has a ten-year-old son. She has a baby on the way. She
claims to be someone else. But youd recognise her anywhere. Back in
England you tell your journalist boyfriend. While he never knew her, he
always knew of her -- her name is Daisy Fraser and she was awaiting trial
over the deaths of four people when she jumped off the Severn Bridge. He
thinks: This could be the scoop of the century. He says: Happy Christmas
-- Im taking you to Australia to find Daisy.
Personal Review: Baggage by Emily Barr
During a vacation I needed a book to read. When I came upon this book, I
had never heard of the title or author, yet it interested me. After reading it
from start to finish in four days I can honestly tell you that this is a truly fun
book to read. I took it everywhere with me and loved every minute of it. It is
well paced with witty writing and dialog. Emily Barr is a good author that
can appeal to both teenagers and adults. I will be definitely looking out for
my books by Barr.
