Pro:
guides you through every single step, plenty of hands on exercises, refers
always to keyboard shortcuts
Con:
additional lessons on DVD rather then in the book which is hard to follow if
you have only one monitor
I'm completely new to FCE and video editing so I was in need for a book
which starts at zero. This book really brought me up2speed. It will not
reveal you all the power / tricks inside FCE but it will help you to get started
for how to use FCE with basic edit techniques to create your first video
clips. Some lessons could have been shortened up but I rather have a little
more explanation then too little.
Conclusion:
If you are new to video editing and FCE I would fully recommend this book.
If you already have some experience with FCE you might want to look for
an more advanced book
