Vasthu - 10 important dos of Vaastu, 8p Document Transcript

  • 1. 10 important dos of VaastuHere are the most important dos of Vaastu that when adhered to will surely bring in good luck and prosperity! 1.Make sure the plot used to build a house is square, rectangular, circle or oval shaped. 2.Place the bed in such a way that your head points in any direction, except north.3.Let your kitchen face east. Simple commonsense shows that this means more light and brightness.4.Have more number of windows facing East and North than those facing West and South.5.Again, leave more open space (if it is an independent house with a compound wall) in the East and North.6.Place your kitchen in the South-east and the bed room to the West or South West. 7.Place your pooja room to the North-east 8.Have your water (pipelines) flow from South to North or from West to East.
  • 2. 9.Place your safe or cash box in the North. 10.Let your children have their bedrooms in the North and East zones of your house. The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, A loop called Confusion, Speed bumps called Friends, Red lights called Enemies, Caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, An engine called Perseverance, Insurance called Faith, A driver called God, You will make it to a place called Success.Ten things God wont ask:1...God wont ask what kind of car you drove;Hell ask how many people you drove who didnt have transportation.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------2...God wont ask the square footage of your house,Hell ask how many people you welcomed into your home.------------------------------------------------------------------------------3...God wont ask about the clothes you had in your closet,Hell ask how many you helped to clothe.----------------------------------------------------------------------------4...God wont ask what your highest salary was,Hell ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------5...God wont ask what your job title was,Hell ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.
  • 3. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------6...God wont ask how many friends you had,Hell ask how many people to whom you were a friend.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------7...God wont ask in what neighborhood you lived,Hell ask how you treated your neighbors.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------8...God wont ask about the color of your skin,Hell ask about the content of your character.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------9...God wont ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation,Hell lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to thegates of Hell.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------10...God wont ask how many people did you share with this,Hell ask if you were ashamed to share it with your friends.Read CarefullyHappy moments, praise God.Difficult moments, seek God.Quiet moments, worship God.Painful moments, trust God.Every moment, thank God.Three things of life once gone never comes back : Time, words & opportunityThree things of life must not be lost : Peace, hope & honesty.Three things of life are most valuable : Love, self-confidence & friends.Three things of life are never sure : Dreams, success & fortune.Three things make a person : Hard work, sincerity & success.Three things of life that destroy a person : Wine, pride & anger.
  • 4. Give me a new idea, I said,While musing on a sleepless bed;A new idea thatll bring to earthA balm for souls of priceless worth;Thatll give men thoughts of things above,And teach them how to serve and love,Thatll banish every selfish thought,And rid men of the sins theyve fought. The new thought came, just houw, Ill tell;Twas when on bended knee I fell,And sought from HIM who knows full wellThe way our sorrow to expel.SEE GOD IN ALL THINGS, great and small,And give HIM praise whateer befall,In life or death, in pain or woe,See God, and overcome they foe.I saw HIM in the morning light,HE made the day shine clear and bright;I saw HIM in the noontide hour,And gained from HIM refreshing shower,.At eventide, when worn and sad,HE gave me help, and made me glad.At midnight, when on tossing bedMy weary soul to sleep HE led.I saw HIM when great losses came,And found HE loved me just the same. When heavy loads I had to bear.I found HE lightened every care.By sickness, sorrow, sore distress,HE calmed my mind and gave me rest/HEs filled my heart with gladsome praiseSince I gave HIM the upward gaze.Twas new to me, yet old to some,This thought that to me has becomeA revelation of the wayWe all should live throughout the day;For as each day unfolds its light,Well walk by faith and not by sight.Life will, indeed, a blessing bring,If we SEE GOD IN EVERYTHING.God: Hello. Did you call me?
  • 5. Me: Called you? No.. who is this?God: This is GOD. I heard your prayers. So I thought I will chat.Me: I do pray. Just makes me feel good. I am actually busy now. I am in the midst ofsomething..God: What are you busy at? Ants are busy too.Me: Dont know. But I cant find free time. Life has become hectic. Its rush hour all thetime.God: Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results. Activity consumestime. Productivity frees it.Me: I understand. But I still cant figure it out. By the way, I was not expecting YOU tobuzz me on instant messaging chat.God: Well I wanted to resolve your fight for time, by giving you some clarity. In this netera, I wanted to reach you through the medium you are comfortable with.Me: Tell me, why has life become complicated now?God: Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.Me: why are we then constantly unhappy?God: Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are worryingbecause you are analyzing. Worrying has become your habit. Thats why you are nothappy.Me: But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty?God: Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional.Me: But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty..God: Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.Me: If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer?God: Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire.Good people go through trials, but dont suffer. With that experience their life becomesbetter not bitter.Me: You mean to say such experience is useful?
  • 6. God: Yes. In every terms, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and thelessons afterwards.Me: But still, why should we go through such tests? Why cant we be free fromproblems?God: Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons (to) EnhanceMental Strength. Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance, not when you arefree from problems.Me: Frankly in the midst of so many problems, we dont know where we are heading..God: If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Lookingoutside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. Heart providesinsight.Me: Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the rightdirection. What should I do?God: Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided byyou. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead. You workwith the compass. Let others work with the clock.Me: In tough times, how do you stay motivated?God: Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Alwayscount your blessing, not what you are missing.Me: What surprises you about people?God: when they suffer they ask, "why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "Whyme". Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, but few want to be on the side of thetruth.Me: Sometimes I ask, who am I, why am I here. I cant get the answer.God: Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop lookingfor a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery but aprocess of creation.Me: How can I get the best out of life?God: Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for thefuture without fear.
  • 7. Me: One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.God: There are no unanswered prayers. At times the answer is NO.Me: Thank you for this wonderful chat. I am so happy to start the New Day with a newsense of inspiration.God: Well. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Dont believe your doubts and doubt yourbeliefs. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful ifyou know how to live.Stay positive and always keep smiling!!Yoga and KundaliniIn the Hindu tradition, kundalini is spiritual energy presumed to reside at the base of thespine. When it is awakened by practices such as yoga, it rises like a serpent up the spine, and opens the chakras psychic centers situated along the spine from the tailbone to thetop of the head.As each chakra opens, new levels of consciousness are revealed. Since the consciousnessof most people is fairly restricted, the opening of the chakras is accompanied byconsciousness expansion and purification of the limitations or impurities that correspondto each chakra.(Brant Cortright, PhD, Psychotherapy and Spirit, p. 161)As kundalini rises, it is associated with physical symptoms including:sensations of heattremorsinvoluntary laughing or cryingtalking in tonguesnausea, diarrhea or constipationrigidity or limpnessanimal-like movements and soundsKundalini arousal most commonly occurs as an unintentional side-effect of yoga, meditation, qi gong. or other intensive spiritual practices. Some theorists considerpsychotherapy, giving birth, unrequited love, celibacy, deep sorrow, high fever, and drugintoxication to be triggers. Some believe kundalini awakening can occur spontaneouslywithout apparent causeMIRROR-IMAGE MEDITATION (REFLECTIVE)The austere practice of mental concentration against one’s own reflection in a mirror is akind of meditation known as the Mirror-Image Meditation (Reflective Meditation) orMirror-Image Penance described as Kannadi Thavam in Tamil. The Mirror-Image Meditation is the supreme form of meditation, which enables theperson meditating to generate within himself an enormous amount of magnetic power.
  • 8. The entire dimension of an object will become deeply etched in the mind if one focusesin his vision and though in rapt concentration upon that particular object. This indeed willbe tantamount to sheer exhaustion of human power. On the other hand, if the mentalconcentration is wholly focused on the Supreme Being, namely God, the electro-magnetic power will eventually become pre-focused and will be imprinted as divine-magnetic power in one’s mind.During the stern process of Mirror-Image Meditation, one’s prowess and vigor willbecome registered in the image reflected in the mirror in front of which one carries outsuch solemn exercise. Thus the prowess and vigor in turn get permeated easily in duecourse throughout the body.Although there are many facets of Mirror Meditation, it infact is a simple but a sterndiscipline. It is especially appropriate for those in the elementary stage of practice. It isprecisely a matter of just twelve minutes systematic exerciseMode of PracticeStand firmly five feet away from the mirror and focus your vision on your full physicalimage for two minutes in absolute concentration. Then trap your eyes closed with yourhands for two minutes. Fill mentally within yourself, your entire physical image, whichyou had been perceiving earlier in the mirror. You have to do this repeatedly thrice. Thisis how Reflective or Mirror Meditation is to be practiced.SymptomWhen you are engrossed in this kind of austere practice, you will find a hazy image asthough it is covered with or concealed in foamy cotton. It is highly appropriate tovisualize physical image in the mirror presuming as though it is either that one’s ownGuru or that of the Supreme Being.
