Case study  Sissy Rooney Case study – Sissy Rooney Background • Young creative social entrepreneur • Engaged with SSA as an early adopter Nov 09 • Until July 2010 had only accessed online networking Results • Used online networking f facilities to verify the credentials of another member f f she meets outside the network. This member placed Sissy's activities on a NESTA contract • Contacted online by another member and accesses support offered in a face to face setting. This member provided a free personalised marketing plan • Attendee of an intelligent networking session is connected to Sissy through the network manager – due to shared objectives. This contact has offered an opportunity for paid work
