  2. 2. Myth #1: We all work the same way There’s a lot of advice on how to become more productive but what works for one person may not work for you. Clear Out The Clutter!
  3. 3. Myth #2: Goal setting is essential Goals are important but can be very restrictive. We sometimes feel obligated by them even when they no longer serve our purpose.
  4. 4. Myth #3: Early morning is best You’ve heard it’s best to get up early to get work done. But you’ll be more productive if you work according to your own energy levels not someone else’s.
  5. 5. Myth #4: Set strict times to do things You don’t have to work through to do lists chronologically. Work more productively by scheduling similar tasks together.
  6. 6. Myth #5: Don’t get distracted Too many distractions can make you lose focus but the occasional distraction is good for you as you’ll go back to your tasks more refreshed and motivated.
  7. 7. Myth #6: Procrastination is bad Procrastinating on tasks can stop you from getting things done, but sometimes putting off a task or project may be the best solution in the short term. Actually, now I’ve thought of a better idea!
