  • 1. 1. Visualize your shot with the sand moving the ball. The club should never touch the ball.

  • 2. 2. Make sure that you use a sand wedge.

  • 3. 3. Use an open stance when you address the ball (your left foot should be farther from the line of flight of the ball, and it should be turned out more than in the fairway shot).

  • 4. 4. Keep at least 80% of your weight In your left foot.

  • 5. 5. Don’t touch the sand before you make a swing, or it cost you a 2-stroke penalty.

  • 7. 7. Square the clubface with the target, and visualize the club sliding under the ball.
