anlayse, monitor, measure and review the activities and projects we engage in. Our Quality
plan not only charts and monitors the parameters for effective control but also lays down
corrective measures to cut down deviations for continuous improvement.
Our three staged Quality Plan:

HAPBCO, under the leadership of Late. Hajee A.P Bava even
with hectic business activities in diversified segments has always
extended a helping hand to the suffering people of the society. This has
produced the formation of A. P. Bava Charitable Trust, an institution
which specially cares and extends the possible help to the needy. The
trust, by arranging free medical camp, special fund allocations for
arranging the marriages among the poor and the social activities like
educational scholarships and free education to the poor students
keeps a high profile in the Malabar Region.
Today, the feather of Chaliyam is “Crescent Public School”. Found-
ed by Late. Hajee A.P. Bava, Crescent Public School is one of the best
and leading educational institutions affiliated to Central Board of Sec-
ondary Education. Crescent selects only the students who are at the

47. The Following activities added few more feathers to our cap in
United Arab Emirates
1). 4.75MW Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant,
Aditya Birla Star Cements, Ras Al Khaimah.
Our Dubai team has done the latest Kalina Cycle
waste heat recovery power plant. This is the second
plant in the world in Cement Industry. Kalina Cycle
is a system which works with water and ammonia
mixture, where ammonia quantity is varied in each
zone according to the operating temperature of the
steam generator. The plant’s complete Civil Construc-
tion, Mechanical Fabrication and Erection of Piping,
Cyclones, Ducting and Structures, Electrical and
Instrumentation Installation, Testing and Commission-
ing was done by A.P.Bava Dubai team. A.P.Bava Dubai
team has done this project in 2012 & 2013 with all
safety equipments and fire prevention system installa-
tion as required.
2). Shutdown Job at Fujairah Cement Industry,
Fujairah, UAE.
The shutdown works at Fujairah Cement Industry
which includes Girth gear Reversal, KILN Shell and
Pinion Replacement was done by A.P.Bava Dubai
team in a span of 28 days.
3). Quick Lime Calcination Plants
We have obtained the installation and commissioning
contract for 500 TPD Quick Lime Calcination Plant
One in Abu Dhabi, UAE and another in Salalah,
Oman. The KILN shell (which is the heart of this plant)
was fabricated at our facility.
