  • 3. BEILSTEIN DATABASE The documents from the Beilstein Handbook of Organic Chemistry as well as data from 176 leading journals in organic chemistry Titles, abstracts and bibliograpic data of the citations in Beilstein, published from 1980 to the present Updated quarterly
  • 4. BEILSTEIN DATABASE (cont.) A substance record contains Beilstein Registry Number, the CAS Registry Number,structure diagram, molecular formula etc. (searchable and displayable) Reaction data more than 8.1 million substances More than 9.428.000 substance records Database is in English except for some fields that also contain German terms.

SciFinder Scholar Database SciFinder Scholar includes: Bibliographic databases: • CAPLUS (Chemical Abstracts): Contains journal articles, patents, conference proceedings, technical reports, reviews etc. back to 1907. In addition to chemistry it covers geology, materials science, biology, medicine, food science, agriculture, polymer science, physics and engineering. • MEDLINE: Covers biomedical sciences dating from 1951 to the present.
