Unfortunately, Utah is Falling Behind in “Going to College”

Participation is Decreasing
In 2006, only 29% of community college students attained a degree within 3 years of enrolling.
Percentage is much smallerfor minority groups.

Only 67% of Hispanics graduate from high school (compared with 91% of their white counterparts).
Only 16% of Hispanic young adults are enrolled in college, compared with 45% of white – the largest gap in the nation.
