  5. 5. Please take note of our security procedures before you arrive at the Embassy. Failure to comply with our security requirements will delay you considerably and could result in you being denied access to the Embassy.
  6. 6. Electronic devices such as laptops are not allowed within the Embassy grounds. Large bags, such as backpacks, suitcases or packages classed above cabin-size allowance are also not allowed within the Embassy grounds. Prohibited items include: Weapons, explosives, sharp items, flashlights longer than 6 inches, luggage and large bags, animals other than service animals, motorcycle helmets, laptops and glass bottles

  8. 8. A queuing system is in place. Join the correct queue, as indicated by signs like this:
  9. 9. When asked to do so, step forward to the security screening area. You may be asked to remove your belt and take any items, such as wallets and loose change, out of your pockets for inspection. You should place them in the clear plastic bags provided. You should be prepared to remove any liquids from your bag and identify them to security personnel.
  10. 10. Once you have gone through security, follow the signs to the appropriate waiting room. You will be advised further by Embassy staff, depending on which service you require.
