International Youth Day Celebration UNAP has spearheaded the celebration of the International Youth Day in the country which was given official endorsement by thewhich was given official endorsement by the Philippine Government through the Presidential Proclamation No. 229 signed on August 12, 2002 b H E ll P id t M l2002 by Her Excellency President Macapagal- Arroyo declaring every August 12 as International Youth Day. International Youthy Day celebration has been the UNAP’s FLAGSHIP Project for the last 10 years and since 2007 after our 60th Anniversary andsince 2007 after our 60 Anniversary and General Assembly, UNAP Board has decided to strengthen the youth arm of UNAP known as United Nations Youth Association of theUnited Nations Youth Association of the Philippines through IYD celebration and conference.
