International Youth Day Celebration UNAP has spearheaded the celebration of the International Youth Day in the country which was given official endorsement by the Philippine Government through the Presidential Proclamation No. 229 signed on August 12, 2002 b H by Her EExcellency P id t M ll President Macapagal- l Arroyo declaring every August 12 as International Youth Day. International Youth y Day celebration has been the UNAP’s FLAGSHIP Project for the last 10 years and since 2007 after our 60th Anniversary and General Assembly, UNAP Board has decided to strengthen the youth arm of UNAP known as United Nations Youth Association of the Philippines through IYD celebration and conference.

Led by its President Dr. Angelica Abella who is also the Vice-President of UNAP for External Affairs These projects include Medical Affairs. Mission and Relief Operations for the vistims of typhoon Ondoy in Muntinlupa, Marikina, Pangasinan and Laguna, Surgical and Medical Mission in Albay, Sorsogon, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales, and facilitated the opening of UN Corners in five libraries in Metro Manila and Bulacan.
