Nexus Integration Benefits• Nexus Adapters reduce data aggregation and integration costs• Nexus provides heartbeat and audit logging features not currently provided for handling errors and issues• Nexus standardises and simplifies the integration to the Digitary secure documents service
– Lessons Learned• Web services are not as easy as you might think - & Nexus can help• The project allowed engagement with new approaches & technologies: SOA, EA, ESB• There can be cost savings – particularly as the range of documents/uses is extended• The Nexus ESB will provide even greater value as more services become available via this route• Undertaking this needs technical & business input• The governance model worked – collaboration can produce results – but needs a clearly defined service delivery model
