Do not hesitate to get help: If you have any doubts enlist the services of an entertainment lawyer. Or simply employ a manager who knows all about agreements.

Be sure the Music Contract honors verbal promises: Verbal promises are worthless, however written ones are gold. Be sure to listen to the company representative and be wary if they want to delay putting in a clause or showing your lawyer the agreement.
