    1. Mark Twain was not wrong when he said, “"India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend and the great-grandmother of tradition.     2. Sariska declared as Wild life sanctuary and tiger reserve in 1955 covers an area of about 800 sq. kms. of Aravali is the one of the exciting sanctuary. Just 3 hours drive from Delhi and 37 Km from Alwar covers mostly the hilly area with Kankwari and Kiraska plateaus. The wide valley of Sariska starts from Baran Tal gate and ends before Thana Gazi. In addition to the Tiger, one can see the Tiger of the Sanctuary i.e. Kankawari Leopard. The best way to see the animals other than watching points is to drive along the road from
      • Sariska to Pandupole. In the evening as dusk creeps, the large herds of Samber move down from hills to drink. Beside the deer, this is perhaps the only sanctuary in the country where Albine Neelgai has been reported . More rare but occasionally seen are the Chowsingha, or the four horned antelope. Among the lesser cats found in the subcontinent the lithe, graceful and handsome caracal is perhaps rarely ever seen.
    3. Rajasthan the land of Thar desert is the only desert in the world which is rich in color and culture and warm with the hospitality of country’s traditions. The splendor of desert combined with the experience of camping and riding on the camel truly makes one of the most impressive activities for travelers. It also brings alive an era when this was the way a brave race conquered the harsh elements to create romantic kingdoms in the desert.
      • The great Indian desert may not have great expanses of sand dunes and incredible spaces of wilderness as large as those of the Sahara and Namib, but more than makes up for it with some glorious citadels and extremely colorful and unspoilt villages. It’s sand dunes are more easily accessible from airports and railway stations than those of many African countries.
    4. Himalayan snow fed rivers offer tremendous opportunities for this sport. Take some time off to dip in the raging rapids of the Ganges, which is the fast co coming to be known as the white water wonder. As you are carries away by rafts on the rising rapids, you will find it calm and tranquil at some places and turbulent and rapid at others. It is not only Ganga, other rivers like Beas in kullu valley, Sutluj in Shimla, Ravi in Chamba and chandra in Lahaul valley where many types of rapids for beginners and non swimmers while others are for advance level are available.
      • Para gliding is the latest aero sport to take the world by storm. Thousand of people all over the world have found this sport convenient, sheer fun and a safe medium of soaring in the air. It can be taken as a happy mix of skydiving and hang-gliding. Except monsoons Para-gliding and hang-gliding is safe throughout the year. Apart from Billing in Kangra valley of Himachal Pradesh there are numerous other excellent locations for gliding at Manali, dharamshala, Shimla, Ooty, and Pune available.
    5. The state of Andhra Pradesh is known for its spicy food, the famous Char Minar in Hyderabad and the markets nearby where one can shop to his heart’s content. The famous temple of Lord Ventateshwara, the richest temple in the world, located on atop the Tirumala hill near Tirupati is one of the most sacred places of worship for Hindus. An early morning walk at Tirumala, with the chanting of the “Suprabath” by temple priests in the background, is an experience that will elevate you no matter to which religious faith you belong.
      • Karnataka has its own identity. Its capital, Bangalore is the IT capital of India. The state has its temples and other tourist spots. Standing tall among them is the Mysore Palace. It is a mix of architectural styles. The sheer grandeur of the palace is breathtaking. It was the home of the Wodeyar dynasty. During the Dussehra festival this palace is illuminated tastefully and is worth going miles to watch.
