Improving & Optimizing Your Audio Choppy or distorted sound is almost always caused by bandwidth limitations at your own location. Make sure your setup is optimized for the type of internet connection speed you have. Click Tools>Preferences>Connection It can also help to run the audio setup wizard. Audio “speeding up” or slowing down: This is temporary while your computer and connection buffer. After a few moments, it will normalize. Chat Window Too Small? If your chat window is too small to follow the conversation, enlarge it. Handouts If there’s a handout, it’s usually available to download from the File Transfer icon. You should get a notification like the one at right when you log in. If you didn’t receive a notification, check the files area. Click the File Transfer icon *There isn’t always a downloadable handout. Handouts in Discussion Groups Webinar speakers almost always post downloadable materials in their discussion groups before and after the webinar. The link to the group will be posted in the chat several times. Be sure to join the discussion group for this webinar. * The discussion group is part of a social learning community.
