  5. 5. Alite Alite is a name for tricalcium silicate, Ca3SiO5, sometimes formulated as 3CaO·SiO2 (C3S in cement chemist notation, CCN). It is the major, and characteristic, mineral phase in Portland cement. Amorphous Calcium Carbonate Amorphous Calcium Carbonate is the amorphous and least stable polymorph of calcium carbonate. Amorphous Calcium Carbonate (or ACC) is monohydrate and is so unstable under normal conditions that aside from several specialized organisms it is not found naturally.
  6. 6. Belite Belite is an industrial mineral important in Portland cement manufacture. Its main constitutent is dicalcium silicate, Ca2SiO4, sometimes formulated as 2 CaO · SiO2 (C2S in cement chemist notation). Calcium acetate In kidney disease, blood levels of phosphate may rise (called hyperphosphatemia) leading to bone problems. Calcium acetate binds phosphate in the diet to lower blood phosphate levels. Side effects of this treatment include upset stomach.
  7. 7. Calcium ascorbate This process arose out of a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the USDA and Mantrose Haeuser, a U.S specialty coatings manufacturer, who hold a joint patent covering the application of calcium ascorbate to maintain shelflife in fresh-cut fruit and vegetables.[4] Calcium benzoate Calcium benzoate refers to the calcium salt of benzoic acid. When used in the food industry as a preservative, its E number is E213 (INS number 213); it is approved for use as a food additive in the EU,[1] USA and Australia and New Zealand.[2]
  8. 8. Calcium carbide Calcium carbide is a chemical compound with the chemical formula of CaC2. Its main use industrially is in the production of acetylene and calcium cyanamide . Calcium carbonate Calcium carbonate is a chemical compound with the formula CaCO3. It is a common substance found in rocks in all parts of the world, and is the main component of shells of marine organisms, snails, coal balls, pearls, and eggshells.
  9. 9. 14-Ethoxymetopon 14-Ethoxymetopon[1] is an opiate analogue that is a derivative of metopon which has been substituted with an ethoxy group at the 14position. It is a highly potent analgesic drug several hundred times stronger than morphine 14-Methoxymetopon 14-Methoxymetopon is an opiate analogue that is a derivative of metopon which has been substituted with a methoxy group at the 14-position
