The recruitment and selection is the major function of the human resource department and recruitment process is the first step towards creating the competitive strength and the strategic advantage for the organizations. Recruitment process involves a systematic procedure from sourcing the candidates to arranging and conducting the interviews and requires many resources and time. What Book Say………….
  4. 4. The recruitment industry has four basic types of firms. 1). Employment agencies deal with clerical, trades, temporary and temporary to hire employment opportunities. 2). Recruitment websites and job search engines used to gather as many candidates as possible by advertising a position over a wide geographic area.

Executive research firms and passive candidate sourcing firms These firms are the new hybrid firms in the recruitment world able to combine the research aspects (discovering passive candidates) of recruiting and combine them with the ability to make hires for their clients.
