    1. Tool Factory Musical Monsters Teacher controls - Change instruments and grid size and enable/disable volume control and certain buttons. Help - Click here to have all parts of the game explained to you. Quit - Click here to exit the game. Grid - This is where you compose your own song. Notes - These characters are your notes. Drag the character up or down inside the grid square to change the volume. Each represents a different kind of musical instrument. Tempo - Drag the slider to make your song go slower or faster. Load - Click to load a saved tune. Save - Save your song in Musical Monsters. Play - Plays back your tune for you. Clear Grid -Empties out the grid of your monsters. Loop - Press to make your song loop over and over again. Loud Medium Quiet Whiteboard Scroller - This button will lower the grid for smaller children. Click the downward arrow to restore the game to its original position. Save as Midi - Saves a song to be played outside of Musical Monsters. Stop - Click to stop playing your song. Minimize - (Windows only) Minimize the game to the Windows taskbar. Quick Reference Guide
    2. Teacher Controls Tool Factory Musical Monsters Sounds - Assign each monster its own musical instrument to play in the grid. Choose from a wide variety including steel drums, bassoon, and jazz guitar! Grid Size - Change the size of the grid to have a greater or fewer number of cells to place monsters into. The more cells there are, the more complicated your tune will be. Save - Keep the changes you have made in the Teacher Controls. Cancel - Exit out from Teacher Controls without saving your changes. Tempo - Slide the bar up and down to change the tempo of the tunes. Switch Access - Go to these controls to enable switch and learn keyboard shortcuts.
