  • 3. Why would you want a table?Tables are used very often when making a website. Mostof the time people just can’t see them because they areborderless. Tables are great for placing images. They aregreat for showing a large amount of data, and makesyour website look more neat. They are used for many morethings.
  • 4. Step 1Start with the table tag. The table tag lookslike the image below. Then use the borderattribute. For now set it to 1.
  • 5. Step 2Next is the table row tag. As you probablyguessed it, it is used to make table rows. Thetag looks like this <tr>
  • 6. Step 3The next step is to use the td tag. TD standsfor table data. You use this tag to put in theinformation that you want to put in thetable.
  • 7. Step 4Once you have done that you can addmore data or add another row. So far yourhtml should look like something like this.
  • 8. Step 5Now you can add a color background tothese tables or an image background. Todo that you must use the backgroundattribute. You can also change the fontusing the font color attribute.
  • 9. Step 6Now its time for you to make a borderlesstable. To do this when you use the borderattribute instead of using a border of oneyou use 0.
  • 10. Step 7It is best if you do not use a colorbackground because can see the table.Tables are great to place images. So tryingplacing an image in the left corner of yourpage.
  • 11. ReviewAlright now that we are done you should beable to: Make a bordered table Make a borderless table Give a table color
  • 12. TestNow I want you to make me a page with aimage in the upper left corner with aborderless table and with a bordered tablein the center that includes color in the cells.
