What is not clear from this slide is that the Full title of the event was:
The Web 2.0 Toolset - a business-focussed overview. The presentation was aimed at a business, not a technical audience and so the content was framed accordingly.
I disagree that wikis and blogs are of limited value to most organisations and had you attended the presentation I think you would too.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

its really frustrating when someone like yourself who clearly has a very shallow understanding of web 2.0 creates these kinds of presentations. Wiki's & Blogs are not part of the web 2.0 toolset, they are applications created using the web 2.0 toolset. Wiki's & blogs although useful are of limited value to most organisations. however authoring & linking (which are the elements of web 2.0 that come together to make blogs or wiki's) are extremely valuable to organisations.
