Step 1 Data Entry This box will automatically complete to set the age related expectation by which attainment will be compared. Complete these boxes to identify your cohort.
Step 1 These percentages will automatically update based on the number on roll Complete these boxes to include the APS for each group. Complete these boxes to develop the profile of your cohort.
Step 1 If the APS for a group is below age related expectations it will be shown in red Where a percentage is considered significantly high it will be highlighted
Step 2 A Brief Description Use this box to describe the cohort in continuous prose in order to cover the issues that can not be recorded in the previous table. e.g. Mobility, size of class, friendship groups, maturity etc. Where a specific issue has a distinct impact on learning it should be highlighted in red. Example: This cohort is of average size, but half of the group come from an area of high deprivation which has affected the dynamics of the class.  Behaviour is varied and there are regular disturbances to the school day.
Step 3 How will you know you have addressed the issue? From the evidence identified in previous tables choose 3 groups/issues to tackle. Decide on an action with a deadline. Who is responsible and what resources will you need? Provide suitable support and identify children who could come off register Lower % on SA. Children removed from register make good progress High % of SEN at SA 21/6/11 TG, DB, SENCO See IEPs,  Support program
