First the New Construction Building Permits is up 110 percent over last year which shows signs of buyers’ optimism of the economy and may also be a sign of Sold Price Ranges 2010 YTD pent-up demand from the low numbers in 2009. The New Construction trend has also accounted for the increase in Average Price of a Brandon Sales to raise 15 percent from $178,770 to $205,727. Closed Sales were down 17.6 percent with fewer New Listings and an increased inventory of Single Family Homes. With that; Negotiations remained consistent with last year at this time as sellers received 96.4 (1st Half with a Brandon Address) percent of their list price.
