ARWave is a framework for geolocating data using Wave Federation Protocol. We believe by using Wave we can create a standard, open, distributed network suitable for both current and future geolocation apps.

The agreement to share transport on a federated network of servers gives us the ability to see more than one vendor's rich objects in the same shared space

This unified view that integrates data streams from across a federated network of servers is particularly significant for augmented reality views.

Augmented reality is very different from the desktop metaphor because when you are walking around with one view you don't want to be constantly changing channels, or paying for someone to blend your augmented view.
