Job Classification: Business to Business Marketing Specialist Title: Business to Business Marketing Specialist BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Business to Business Specialist will add third party vendors for the distribution of TollTags, provide marketing research for the NTTA, TollTag marketing and development of business partnerships including sponsorships, revenue generating projects, joint promotions, and other marketing related functions as directed. Job will include the supervision of the Marketing Coordinator as part of a team effort to expand third party operations and other marketing opportunities as directed by the Marketing Manager. Candidate will need the ability to think strategically, holistically, and from a customer viewpoint across all products and services; ability to manage and market a ‘strategy’, a product, and services simultaneously; understanding of business planning and strategic analysis, forecasting, competitive analysis. Develops strategic marketing objectives for the purpose of increasing TollTag distribution and protecting / developing the brand identity of the NTTA. 2 S Develops and seeks financially responsible sponsorship opportunities for the NTTA for promotional, marketing and TollTag distribution opportunities. 3 S Required to meet quarterly sales goals and objectives as agreed upon with the Marketing Manager. 4 S Responsible for developing ROI for each account; Oversees implementation and maintenance of each account. 5 S Develop business plan and forecast designed for specified products; Develops marketing partnership with cities within the four county NTTA service area. 6 S Develops targeted marketing objectives for selected demographics for the Page 1

Job Classification: Business to Business Marketing Specialist purpose of increasing TollTag penetration in key zip codes. 7 S Assist the TollTag Marketing Specialist to develop creative customer initiatives to increase the distribution of TollTags throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. 8 S Assist with developing overall marketing strategy for the NTTA for current and future products and services. 9 S Plans and implements sales and customer retention, development and ROI projections. 10 S Tracks budget expenditures related to third party payouts. 11 S Tracks trends and NTTA objectives to determine strategic placement of third party vendors. 12 S Negotiates contracts with distributors to manage product distribution; establish distribution networks and develop distribution strategies. Job Classification: Business to Business Marketing Specialist JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Description of Minimum Job Requirements- Formal Education Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature which may be obtained with a two year associate’s degree, diploma or equivalent from a college, technical, business, vocational, or correspondence school. Appropriate certification may be awarded upon satisfactory completion of advanced study or training. Experience Over three years up to and including five years. Supervision Work requires functioning as a lead worker performing essentially the same work as those directed, and includes overseeing work quality, training, instructing, and scheduling work. Human Decisions regarding implementation of policies may be made. Contact Collaboration Skills may involve support of controversial positions or the negotiation of sensitive issues or important presentations. Freedom to Act Receives General Direction: The employee normally performs the job by following established standard operating procedures and/or policies. There is a choice of the appropriate procedure or policy to apply to duties. Performance is reviewed periodically. Technical Skills Skilled: Work requires a comprehensive, practical knowledge of a technical field with use of analytical judgment and decision-making abilities appropriate to the work environment of the organization. Budget Prepares budget documents; and does research to justify language used in Responsibility documents for a unit or division of a department. May recommend budget allocations. Reading Advanced – Ability to read literature, books, reviews, scientific or technical journals, abstracts, financial reports, and/or legal documents. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in at the college level or above. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study. Math Intermediate – Ability to deal with system of real numbers; practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios/proportions and measurement. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in high school up to college. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study. Writing Advanced – Ability to write editorials, journals, speeches, manuals, or critiques. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in at the college level or above.
