    • AVIVA Astralis Group Global Finance Transformation Programme In order to deliver AVIVA’s strategies, there has been a strong emphasis on improving internal systems and processes. A major initiative, sponsored by the Board and Group Finance Director is the Global Finance Transformation Programme (GFTP). The Global Finance Transformation Programme is a major international change programme which plays a key role in supporting Aviva’s group-wide Finance community, to achieve its vision of becoming an industry-leading finance function appropriate to the scale and ambitions of Aviva. The programme covers all aspects of Finance including performance management, external reporting, governance and financial management. It also involves significant technological change. Core elements of the programme are focused on our people and our culture and the need to embed a sustainable capability to change. The programme is truly international and potentially involves all 30+ countries in which Aviva operates. The programme will take at least two years to complete. Assignment Brief 4

This first stage is due to be delivered by the end of 2002. The programme incorporates a large number of Sub-Programmes, which are in themselves significant. The complexity, geographical scope and sheer scale of the overall programme dictates the need for a central focus for the direct management and co- ordination of the programme. With the GFTP now well established, the organizational structure continues to evolve as the dimensions of the programme take shape. As a result, the Programme Office and Process and Technology functions of the GFTP require additional resources. The role of Business Analysis/Relationship Manager reports directly to the IT Director for Group Finance. It is London based. Assignment Brief 5
