  6. 6. Strategic Goals: 1. Educate members on key points & arguments. 2. Members effective in expressing their opinion to lawmakers and friends/family. 3. Clear message – All members on the same page.
  7. 7. Tactical Goal: 1. Expose each member to the key points & arguments 5+ times in first 60 days. 2. Aggressive, straightforward. 3. Clear message – easy to learn.
  8. 8. Execution of Education Plan: • Summarize the key points & arguments: • Meeting with key players to boil down, vet arguments. • Agree on message & discussion points – foundation for everything.

ACTION FROM MEMBERS: • Identify the TYPE of ACTIONS we want members to take: • Calls, Letter Writing, Social Media, Word-of-Mouth, Capital Visits • Identify WHEN we want members to ACT: • Precisely timed to political or legislative events – CHANGE VOTES • Grassroots – constant, increasing communication to legislators, friends – CHANGE MINDS • Preplanned Mass Communication - show them we can rally whenever we want – CHANGE ATTITUDES
