Editor's Notes

  1. We’ve been working on this problem for 4 years, but really this past year things have taken off Give an example of Corrective Rape or some other example, and reference how it’s representative of many, many more possible wins Discuss, briefly, the model and how it’s optimized for growth and impact
  2. It’s not just that we have lots of people, but that we’re growing at more than 200,000 new members per month Our people are winning and therefore more inclined to want to keep participating on issues. Our model nurtures people and helps them want to move up the ladder of engagement What’s important isn’t the wide range of our members, but that we have incredible data on their interests and targeting, and help find the people who are going to be most valuable to your organization. (Most importantly, our members are coming to our site to take action on issues they care passionately about. They aren’t coming just to read, or to connect to others, or to send ecards or take polls. We attract people who want to take action in a way that nobody else on the web does. And our ROI data prove that)
  3. We do so in a way that advances your campaign, gives you exposure, and helps to gain news for your issue
  4. This can be an existing petition or we can help to craft one with you Mention Convio API and say we’ll be offering more over the course of the year Mention the free suppression list, but make it sound easy and non-technical and not dangerous to privacy
  5. Make it clear that the examples of successes in the case studies are representative of experiences of more than 200 nonprofits. Emphasize that we work with organizations of all sizes, and our extremely high rate of follow-up contracts of increasing value.
