  • 2. + New Leonard Library Newly expanded and renovated building opened March 2012. Houses J. Paul Leonard Library, Academic Technology, Accessible Technology Commons (DPRC), Peets Coffee & Tea, and Sutro Library. Approximately 350,000 assignable square feet.
  • 3. + Library Retrieval System  High density, accessible storage, for books, periodicals, government docs, media, microforms & special collection materials.  Stores approximately 75% of our physical collections.  Complements 2 floors of open shelving with books that are newer & checked out frequently.  3 Stories high (Ground – Two)  5 “robotic” cranes  Pick from 20,000 bins with the capacity to hold  1 million items  HK Systems / Dematic
  • 4. + Enhanced Group Study Rooms (Ground and One)  18 Group Study Rooms  14 with MediaScape Minis: 4 laptop users share screen w/o special software or mediation.  2 for group viewing of films, etc.  2 MediaScapes in Group Study Area: 4 laptop users share screen, Seat 12 each.  IdeaPaint / Whiteboards.  Reservations coming soon.
