The idea behind #EEOChat is to have a place where people can discuss equal employment opportunity and compliance issues in an informal environment. The goal is to get everyone – regardless of job title or level in the organization – thinking and talking about compliance issues. Too often compliance is only discussed at the senior level, behind closed doors, with counsel present.

#EEOchat is aimed at taking compliance to the streets.We think that educating people about compliance issues goes a long way in reducing the risk of employment-related litigation. And in the current regulatory environment, it’s all about risk management and litigation avoidance.
