  3. 3. But those networks have problems: <ul><li>Facebook / Twitter: Engenders “Slacktivism,” and those networks tend to only exist online </li></ul><ul><li>Foursquare: Location based, but no connection among users or intention about location </li></ul>

Riotstartr <ul><li>Brings virtual networks and locations together </li></ul><ul><li>Adds intention to planning an event </li></ul><ul><li>Takes the best parts of Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, etc. and puts them into real-time tracking of an event </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to go short-term viral </li></ul>

Are you in? <ul><li>Say “I’m in” and you’re officially a rioter </li></ul><ul><li>Invite others using your contacts and social networks </li></ul><ul><li>The app reports your location periodically to the site within two hours of the event </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t want to go? Just hit “I’m out.” </li></ul>
