    • Notre Dame Law Review Grad (1991)
    • Car accident in 1996 left me in a hospital bed and wheelchair – totally disabled – unable to practice law
    • Turned to the Internet as an income source and a way to pay more than $9.9 million in medical bills over the next 10 years
    • By January 2005, doctors gave me only 12 to 18 months to live
    • Became a full time R.V.er to see the country before it was time to die
    • 6 months later, went through my “Miraculous Transformation” and not only did I not die, but I completely recovered – even walking again in spite of no feeling in my legs and feet to this day

    • The type of marketing done online is “Direct Response Marketing.”
    • Let’s define that term:
      • “ Marketing” – everything you do that puts money into your pocket. In other words, Marketing is the business activity Satisfying the Needs of Your Audience through:
        • Creating value (i.e. providing a product that your audience wants or needs)
        • Communicating value (i.e. selling through a message that allows your audience to perceive your product as the solution to their problem), and
        • Exchanging value (i.e. your prospect gives you something – either money or their email address – in return for receiving your product)
