    22. During the spring and summer holidays, the children would go out to enjoy the warm weather, and besides playing and having fun, they also spent time meeting people and spreading a bit of good cheer.
    23. The children made good progress in their school work. At the end of the last school year, each of them graduated and went on to a new grade. Two laptops were sponsored for the children to use this year for some of their studies. Over the last year we have received, from various publishing houses around Europe, donated text books, work books, and readers, which the children use daily.
    24. The children visited various places of interest, such as: the Rheinfalls, Schoggiland in Flawil, Natur Museum in Wintherthur, and the Sauriermuseum in Aathal, as well as lakes, parks, forests, rivers, and other sites ideal for out door learning and adventures.
    25. Once again, the children put together a little Christmas show which we took to different old folks homes and some of our friends and sponsors. This year, Liani (3) joined in and was a natural hit. C H R I S T M A S 2008
