    • www.CollegesofLaw.eduCertificates of ConcentrationStudents at the Colleges of Law have the opportunity to earn a Certificate ofConcentration in one of four areas:  Business Law  Criminal Law  Family Law  Estate PlanningEarning a certificate is one way a student can develop competence and demonstrate ahigher level of interest in a specific practice area, in preparation for entering anemployment market that favors law graduates who are well grounded in bothfundamental skills and emerging legal trends.To earn a certificate, a student must, in addition to completing the law degree program:  Complete, with a grade of "Pass" or higher, 8 units of elective courses qualified for credit toward that concentration.  Submit a Petition for Certificate of Concentration form.
