It is important to provide students with a online safe
environment as it is done for them in classrooms.
BigGyan provides students and teachers an alternate way to communicate using online forums, chat,
web-conference integrated with BigGyan. Students use these tools to chat as to how was the day, discuss
their problems related to topics taught on that day or regarding homework and assignments. These are
extremely useful tools during exam times as students can discuss out problems sitting at their homes just
like they do when they are in classroom. Teachers can also help them during exam preparation sitting at
their homes.

BigGyan further protects them by providing a tool to implement word censorship. This enables enables
certain selected words to be "blacked out" in the flow of the text. The primary use is to censor obscene or
other unwanted words in the text. BigGyan comes with a list of words that are blacked out. Teachers and
administrators can easily edit the list of words based on their specific requirements.
